To guide and assist our young sisters in the development of self, faith and endurance while navigating through school and the world. (Ujima means collective work and responsibility in Swahili. It is the third principle in Kwanzaa.) It is our job to work together in the development of our youth. We are responsible for making sure they have the tools and faith needed to endure.
Ujima Sisterhood commits to being a resource for the community by supplying various everyday necessity products like sanitary napkins, soap, shampoo, clothing and food.
